Am I salt and light in my community or do I have much in common with unbelievers? Do I practice the law of God as well as teach it? Do I hate others, do I nurse grievances? Do I indulge in lustful fantasies? Do I readily forgive others, live in sexual purity (in thought and practice), keep my word? Do I turn the other cheek, go the extra mile? Do I love my enemies? Is my faith primarily for others to see, or is it because I truly love God? Do I lust after the things of this world, or am I satisfied with heavenly treasures? Am I quick to judge others or am I focusing on becoming all God has called me to be? If I was forced to choose between person who agreed with me on all the essential doctrines, and someone who did not agree, but who was spiritually minded and fully devoted to the Lord, I would not hesitate in giving preference to the latter. - Alexander Campbell -the divorce rate among evangelical Christians is just as high as the divorce rate among non-Christians -marital disputes and moral problems among evangelicals are just as high as such problems among non-Christians
